My name is Dulné Óvári Tímea and I live in Budapest with my family and with my dogs. I was always surrounded by dogs. My first big „love” was a female rotweiler from Germany, and with her I achieved great results in shows. By the time I got married and gave birth to my 3 children, my focus changed to the family. When my kids got older they wanted to have a dog. My husband and I agreed that it was time for a puppy. And why the Chinese Crested Dog? While I was surfing on the web, I found this glorious kind of dog by chance and I had started to do some research when I found Decca. It was love at first sight, so I called Vámosné Ági, the breeder, immediately to find out if she still had that puppy. After the call we took a trip to Sirok. Seeing that puppy in real life made me come to the decision that she was going to be part of our family. We became enthusiastic fans of that species, so we coudn’t stop having more. After Decca came Frutty, the black and white gorgious little girl, who fascinated everybody with her beauty. During the years Vámosné Fleiszig Ágnes, the breeder of my dogs, has given me lots of advice and help and has become a really good friend of mine. My third dog, whose name is Rico, arrived from Poland (Odelli kennel). The breeder Ela Cierzniak who brought Rico to me in person, became a very good friend as well. Rico is funny and he has a really comic personality, we never get bored when he is around.
I started to attend shows with Chineses in 2007 and I’ve made lots of new friendships in this time. So many breeders around me say that health checking by a veternarian is waste of money, and there is no reason why to have these tests. The most important thing to me is to mate our dogs at the right time, because so many "Breeders what are only seeders" say I don't care about the dogs’ age, I produce dogs only for money. And they say, „This is business not a breeding.” I hate these people, beacuse they are my enemies. I try to keep a balance between my family and the shows. For me the quality and not the quantity of the shows is important. I have clear goals for the future and I hope that I will be able to acheive them. We have a veternarian check our dogs for genetically inheritable disases. The most important thing to us is to bring only healthly dogs for breeding.
Finally, I am glad to say that my dogs are living with us in a happy, loving family, taking part of our everyday’s life. I hope that we can give as much love to them as they give to our family.
